Unheard Narratives
Unheard Narratives is an artists collective based in London, focusing on uplifting Indigenous South Asian narratives that often go unheard in the mainstream. The marketing collateral of this includes postcards, posters as well as social media posts for the collective. Taking inspiration from vintage postcards of Northeast India, these postcards are meant to emulate a sense of sentimental nostalgia and memories of home, with the front of the postcards showcasing different forms of traditional paper-making while tying back to the storytelling of their origins in Meghalaya, India. The back of the postcards includes information on the workshop, designed to emulate a vintage personalised postcard from the early 1900s.
